Here is some local advice on the region

Whether you are into Scuba Diving, Fishing, Surfing, Kiting, Snorkelling.. you name it you can find it within a few kilometers - select HERE for all your options.

4x4 Vehicles

Many regions need a 4x4 so check with your hosts. Ponta do Ouro has a Tar road to it but many of the facilities in the region require a 4x4 or 2x4 with diff lock. Ponta Malongane/Mamoli can be tricky in Season especially in December & January.

Internet/Cell phone reception

Internet is available in all the regions. There are many regions where there might be no reception at all especially in some of the remote reserves like uMkhuze and Ndumo.

Best draw some cash if you are heading out to remote sites as there are not many ATM's in the region and often they have no cash. Your fuel stations are probably the best option.
